The Day It All Became Real

The Day It All Became Real

Y'all. I don't even know where to start.

Today — March 24, 2026 — the Crimson Creek series is officially in print. Real pages. Real spines. Real bookstores. I keep saying it out loud just to hear what it sounds like.

Let me tell you how we got here.

Back in October 2024, I signed with Vinci Books. I didn't talk about it much — partly because I'm superstitious, partly because publishing moves at its own pace and I didn't want to jinx anything. But I knew what it meant. It meant Crimson Creek was going somewhere I couldn't take it alone.

And then I waited. And wrote. And waited some more. 😂

Here's the thing about going to print — it's not like uploading a file and clicking publish. There are conversations and approvals and distributor catalogues and a whole lot of trusting the process. There were moments I wondered if today would ever actually come.

It came.

And if THAT wasn't enough — The Soldier Gets His Girl is now an audiobook, narrated by Matt Godfrey and Ryder Sol. Dual narrators. Because Andy and Cindy both deserved a voice, and I may have cried a little when I heard them for the first time. I'm not confirming or denying. 👀

To everyone who has been here from the beginning — I have a feeling you know how much this means. You read the ebooks, you left the reviews, you sent the emails. You are the reason this series has a publisher and a narrator and a spine on a shelf somewhere in the world right now.

It means more than I can say. Truly.

If you want to grab the print edition or listen to Book 1 on Audible — come get it. And if you spot it in a store? Please take a photo and send it to me. I'm collecting every single one. 💛
